Single-, Multi-Output Power Supplies Push Price/Performance, Efficiency Boundaries

Highlighting Excelsys Technologies product display at Electronica 2014 will be its UltiMod and XSolo user-configurable power supplies. The UltiMod power-supply series offers up to 12 outputs and 1200 W in a 1U form factor. Beyond the typical EMC and safety agency approvals, UltiMod complies with SEMI F47 for use in semiconductor manufacturing. According to the company, it’s the first in its class to carry a five-year warranty. The XSolo family of 1U-high, ultra-compact single-output power supplies comes in two packaging options. The open-frame U-channel model delivers a convection-cooled 504 W, while the enclosed fan-cooled chassis version provides 1008 W. Both models also carry a five-year warranty and are SEMI F47-compliant.
