    Customizable Upscreening and Sorting Process Flows For High-Reliability TVS Diodes

    Littelfuse, Inc. now offers users the ability to customize the upscreening and sorting process flows for High-Reliability Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Diodes.

    Littelfuse, Inc. now offers users the ability to customize the upscreening and sorting process flows for High-Reliability Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS) Diodes. These components protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning surge and other transient voltage events and have been specially screened and sorted for use in DC line protection in aviation electronics (avionics) and other applications that demand high reliability.

    In addition to components with customizable upscreening and sorting process flows, Littelfuse offers four "off-the-shelf High-Reliability TVS Diodes series: SMCJ-HR Series, SMCJ-HRA Series, SMDJ-HR Series, and SMDJ-HRA Series.

    Littelfuse High-Reliability TVS Diodes are well suited for aerospace applications, such as fly-by-wire flight control, engine control, power supply/distribution, cockpit electronic equipment and displays, air conditioning, on-board infotainment systems, radar systems, advanced airborne digital computers, and airfield lighting. They are also suitable for a wide variety of military, industrial, and medical applications.

    In the past, high reliability TVS diodes were specialty products that required end users to ship commercial-grade components to outside subcontractor labs to have the extra sorting process performed, which extended waiting and delivery times and added significant extra expense. 
