Excelsys announces the expansion of their Xgen modular power supply series with new 200 and 400 Watt power chassis featuring only 37.3dBA of acoustic noise over all load conditions, it is said to be the quietest modular power supply available.

This reduction in audio noise and accompanying vibration makes these new products ideal for medical, scientific, laboratory and broadcast applications. The XTA and XTB chassis provide 200W and 400W of power and are UL / EN60950 2nd edition. The XNA and XNB chassis are certified to UL /EN60601-1 3rd edition medical approvals and deliver 200W and 400W respectively. Each chassis measures only 10.24 x 3.50 x 1.59" and offers users 4 configurable slots that can be configured with up to 8 isolated outputs from 1.5VDC to 58.0VDC. All outputs are fully user adjustable and may be combined in series for higher voltages or parallel for higher currents. Other features include high efficiency of 89%, individual output control, 5VDC auxiliary, universal 85-264VAC input and a full suite of protection features including OVP, OCP, SCP and OTP.

These new Xgen chassis are available now with evaluation quantities available from stock and manufacturing lead times of 8-12 weeks. Standard pricing is as low as $694 for configured XTB power supplies in 100 piece quantities.
