AC/DC Power Supply Withstands Harsh Use

The new XF family of field-configurable power supply chassis from Excelsys are rated 400 W to 1000 W in a package measuring 10.55 x 5.00 x 1.59 in. Employing Excelsys' innovative plug-and-play architecture, the unprecedented flexibility allows users to instantly configure DC output configurations in less than 5 minutes. The series features efficiencies greater than 90%, a wide temperature range from -55 to 70 ºC to meet the demands of harsh operating environments and is ruggedized to withstand extreme shock and vibration (certified to Mil-STD 810G Integrity Test for Vibration). All configurations carry full safety agency approvals, including UL60950 and EN60950 and are fully characterized for EMI according to MIL-461F. Other standard features include 47 to 440Hz input frequency; Single and dual output modules with 1.5 V to 58 V output voltages and wide trim ranges; individual output control; all outputs isolated; series/parallel connections; and 5V/250mA bias standby voltage.

The XF Series is now available with immediate delivery of evaluation quantities and a manufacturing lead time of 8-10 weeks. 1,000 Watt configurations units cost $995.00 each in 100 piece quantities.
