Converters Feature 4:1 Input Range

Aug. 1, 2003
The 15W 4EE series dc/dc converters provide users with a 4:1 input voltage range of 9V to 36V and 18V to 72V. They are said to simplify circuit design by accepting either regulated or non-regulated inputs and providing single, dual or triple outputs.

The 15W 4EE series dc/dc converters provide users with a 4:1 input voltage range of 9V to 36V and 18V to 72V. They are said to simplify circuit design by accepting either regulated or non-regulated inputs and providing single, dual or triple outputs. The single-output converters have an external output trim with a ±10% voltage adjustment range. Each converter in the series includes a remote on/off control to reduce power consumption in standby mode and six-sided shielding with a non-conductive base, allowing the devices to be used in applications where EMI is present. Other common features include a switching frequency beyond 200 kHz, efficiencies up to 82%, and an operating temperature range from -25°C to 71°C with convection cooling. In packages measuring 3" x 2.56" x 0.83", prices range from $33.60 to $37.20. For more details, call D1 INTERNATIONAL INC., Huntington, NY. (631) 673-6866.
