Promoted as a low-cost family of 5W dc/dc converters, the I500RU series features an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range, efficiencies to 86%, industry standard pin-outs, and tight line/load regulation. Sixteen models operate from 4:1 input ranges of 9 to 36 Vdc or 18 to 75 Vdc, providing regulated outputs of 5, 12, 15, 24, ±5, ±12, ±15, or ±24 Vdc. Standard features include an input/output isolation of 1.5 kVdc, reportedly low output noise, and continuous short-circuit protection. The MTBF per MIL HDBK 217F is 1,000,000 hours.
