The PQ-28 power-conditioning module protects downstream dc/dc converter circuitry against transients and over-voltage conditions while meeting the requirements of MIL-STD-1275B. The unit also functions as a pre-regulator module via an 11- to 100-Vdc input range. Available in an industry-standard, half-brick package with a 200W rating, the module also provides input reverse-polarity protection, automatic short-circuit recovery, under-voltage lockout and isolation from the baseplate to the pins of 700 Vdc, an efficiency of 95%, 0.1% load regulation from 45V to 100V, a temperature coefficient of 150 ppm/ºC, a 200-kHz switching frequency, and a baseplate operating temperature from -40º to +100ºC. The PQ-28 is available from stock. CALEX MFG. CO. INC., Concord, CA. (800) 542-3355.
