The UWR A-Series of dc-dc converters delivers 15W of output power in the industry-standard 2" x 1" package traditionally associated with 6-to-10W converters. By combining a 300-kHz, synchronous-rectifier, forward topology with leading-edge components, the switching converters are able to achieve 83% to 86% efficiency. The family’s 12 basic models offer 3.3V, 5V, 12V and 15V output voltages and input-voltage ranges of 10 to 18V, 18 to 36V and 36 to 75V. All are isolated to 1500 vdc.
