Poised for high-speed networking and telecommunications, the GALW9V647 450W, single-output quarter-brick dc/dc converter measures 1.45" x 4.25" x 0.95" including the heatsink. Microprocessor-controlled, the converter employs single-stage power supply control and an architecture using synchronous rectification that delivers high conversion efficiencies. Operating efficiency is 93.5% at full load and 94.5% at half load. Other features include an input-voltage range from 36V to 75V, output current of 47A, single isolated output of 9.6V, line regulation of ±0.2%, load regulation of 2%, and a set-point accuracy of ±5%.
