The Liebert GXT uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is now available in a higher-capacity, 10 kVA version, providing online double-conversion protection for up to 8 kW of equipment in 6U of rack space. Configurable as a tower or rack-mount model, paralleling capabilities allow multiple units to work together for up to 16 kW of protection or to create a +1 or 2+1 parallel redundant system. The unit automatically detects input phase angle and adapts output voltage to 208/120 Vac or 240/120 Vac without the need to select any voltage taps. Other features include a maintenance bypass function that allows complete removal of the power module and battery modules for service or maintenance, automatic frequency detection that senses and matches input frequencies of either 50 or 60 Hz, and self diagnostics.
