Offering input-voltage ranges of 2.4V to 5.5V and 8V to 18V, the NBS Series point-of-load (POL) converters measure 1.1" x 0.45" x 0.25" in a Micro Lynx package and deliver a maximum output current up to 8A. Output voltages range from 0.8V to 8V,

Offering input-voltage ranges of 2.4V to 5.5V and 8V to 18V, the NBS Series point-of-load (POL) converters measure 1.1" x 0.45" x 0.25" in a Micro Lynx package and deliver a maximum output current up to 8A. Output voltages range from 0.8V to 8V, limited to 75% of the input voltage. The compact devices specify efficiencies of 94.5% at 6A and over 93% at 8A when outputting 3.3V from a 5V input. To improve thermal performance, as well as maintain their low profile of 0.25", the converters employ integrated magnetic components. Other features include input under-voltage lockout, remote sensing and control, output trim, plus short-circuit, over-load, and over-temperature protection. Prices start from $6.50 each/100.
