Internally controlled by a microcontroller with a digital crystal oscillator, the PC-R502-925 is a low-profile, 50W sine wave telephone ring generator module with a selectable output frequency and amplitude. The device synthesizes high accuracy, low THD sine wave ringing signals at frequencies of 17, 20, 25 or 50 Hz. An external control pin provides either digital or analog output amplitude setting in the range of 45 to 86 Vrms. The unit is powered by a single 36-72 vdc source and measures 150 mm x 76.2 mm x 12.7 mm. The module features protection against overload, over-temperature and short circuit conditions. Applications include PBX/PABX key systems, digital loop carriers, and other POTS short-long loop applications. The module is priced at $175 each/100.
