Via an intelligent I2C interface, users of the iMP Series switching power supplies can program output voltages, output enable/sequencing, module inhibit/enable polarity, DC OK thresholds, output-current limit points and types, and over-temperature thresholds. Along with digital control, the series offers a range of hardware modules with single, dual, and triple outputs plus power ratings from 600W to 1.5 kW. Modules are available in four customizable MP cases accepting input voltages from 85 to 264 Vac or 120 to 350 Vdc. The cases accommodate up to seven modules with outputs ranging from 2 to 60 Vdc. Samples are available now with prices starting at $320 for a single-output 600W configuration. ASTEC POWER, Carlsbad, CA. (760) 930-4600.
