Featuring a choice of molded lips, covers and special materials to handle various battery retention assignments, these battery holders can accommodate AAA, AA, C, D and N battery sizes. Also available are 9V battery holders with high-retention phosphorous-bronze snaps. All holders and snaps can be supplied with special safety covers and the holders can also be equipped with mounting holes. The holders can be ordered in one- to 10-cell configurations, stacked side-by-side or in-line. And the housing can be constructed of standard polyethylene, UL 94 VO or stainless steel. Connection options include 150-mm lead wires, 4- or 6-prong snap terminals, tag (lug solder) terminals, and PC-mounting pins. Lead wires can be of any length with straight or perpendicular attachment in crimp, rigid or solder styles. A four-cell AA battery in UL 94 VO material with mode lip is priced at $0.45 each/1,000.
