Measuring just 5" x 11.5" x 1.6" in height, the HP6 series hot-swap power supplies deliver up to 600W of multiple-output regulated power. With up to five outputs, including a 5 Vdc, 1A standby output, the supplies have a power density of 6.52W/cubic inch. Active current sharing is available on all four outputs, and multiple supplies can be wired together for redundant N+1 applications or for higher system power levels. Six standard models are available and custom units can be assembled to meet specific output requirements. Other features include an I2C interface with interrupt capability, power factor correction, no minimum load requirement, self-contained ORing diodes on all outputs, current limiting, over-voltage protection, and full output power up to 50ºC. Pricing ranges from $368 to $442 in OEM quantities. Samples are available in two weeks. MAGNETEK POWER ELECTRONICS GROUP, Chatsworth, CA. (818) 727-2216.
