400W Switchers With PFC Have Low Profile

The THIN-400 MF Series single-output switching power supplies have 3.3, 5, 12, 24 or 48 vdc output with input power factor correction (PFC) meeting EN 61000-3-2. The switchers come in three packages: 1.7" x 5" x 9" open frame units; 1.75" x 5" x 9" covered types; and 1.75" x 5" x 10.5" covered versions with two fans. Other features are universal input of 85 to 264 vac, Class B input EMI filtering to FCC 20780 and EN 55022 specs, single-wire active current sharing, voltage adjustment range of ±5%, and an independent 5V/100 mA supervisory output. Control and supervisory features include dc power good, AC power fail, inhibit and remote sensing. Protective features include overvoltage, overload, short-circuit and thermal. There is no minimum load requirement.
