The F7 configurable power supply delivers up to 700W of power in a chassis measuring 10.5" x 5" x 2.5", some 0.5" shorter than industry-standard 600W supplies. Plug-in modules for the supply allow users to configure a maximum of nine floating outputs between 1.9 to 150 Vdc. Outputs can be connected in either series or parallel, with the parallel option employing active current sharing. Other features include a universal ac input, power-factor correction, 40A maximum peak inrush current, 50 mV maximum ripple and noise on the outputs, and a typical line regulation of 0.1% for single output modules and 2% for dual/triple output modules. Depending on the module, over-voltage protection is 115% to 140% nominal and over-load protection operates at 140% of nominal rating. Price is $450 each/1,000. Small quantities can be configured within 48 hours, with production volumes deliverable in eight weeks ARO. XPIQ INC., Holliston, MA. (508) 429-9883.
