This non-isolated, compact, single in-line (SIP) dc-to-dc converter can accept inputs of from 140V to 380V and provide 200 mA at 15 vdc of regulated power. Designated the M57182N-315, the converter is rated at 70% efficiency and can operate at temperatures form -10°C to 70°C. It is well-suited for powering the firm's line of application-specific intelligent power modules (ASIPMs), DIP IPMs, and Mini-DIP IPMs. The converter can supply the 15 vdc directly from the main dc link voltage. Similarly, the device can derive power for IGBT gate drives directly from the link. The M57182N-315 dc-to-dc converter costs $4 each/100.
