The LC series battery chargers, designed for lithium-ion and lithium-polymer batteries, can be tailored to the unique requirements of each application. The chargers are customized with proprietary firmware, aligning charge current and voltage to match the specific charging needs of the battery pack. The company can pre-program an array of functions from pre-charge qualification to remote voltage sensing and state-of-charge signaling. Available in 12W or 24W versions with output currents up to 3A, the chargers can also detect the presence of a battery even when the protection circuit has shut off the battery’s output. The LC series holds both commercial and medical agency approvals for use with portable electronic devices in Europe and North America and are available in desktop and wall plug versions for North America, Continental Europe, and the UK.
