Requiring only two ac input wires, the fully-enclosed PSA-15W desktop power supply safely works in countries with two-wire distribution grids, making it an ideal product for international markets. Despite the simple two-wire input, the supply includes sufficient ac line filtering to reduce conducted noise below FCC class B and CISPR B limits without the need for the ground connection. The double-insulated adaptor's leakage current is less than 250 µA and there is said to be virtually no radiated EMI field. The device delivers 15W from a single output and is intended for network, notebook, computer peripheral and portable instrument applications. It includes output short circuit protection with automatic recovery. The sealed, splash-proof plastic enclosure measures just 4.3" x 2.6" x 1.0" and provides adequate cooling while protecting the power supply. Pricing is $15.40 each/100.
