Light industrial applications are the target for the SDP Series power supplies. Offered in a compact, low-cost plastic design, the new supplies extend the range of the series to include 1A and 2A versions. They measure just 1.77" wide and therefore required less panel space. Installation time and expense are said to be minimized by the "no-tool" DIN connection and the ultra-quick, "no-tool" input and output connections. The series is available with similar industrial specs as the firm's SDN Series, including wide temperature operations from -10°C to +70°C, special overload circuitry to allow 1.5x nominal output current for the smooth start-up of industrial loads, and a tightly regulated, low-noise output to keep loads stables, consistent, and without interference. The design features front-panel dc indicators, front-panel adjustment potentiometers from 24V-28V, and a dc OK relay contact for the 2A version. Pricing starts at $99.
