A line of 200-W half-brick (2.28- by 2.4- by 0.25-in.) dc-dc converters feature a 4:1 input voltage range and efficiencies up to 89%. The VHB200W series handles input voltages of 18 to 75 V dc, making it well suited for telecom, industrial, and battery applications where the input voltages may vary greatly. Available outputs include 3.3, 5, 12, 15, and 24 V dc. The converters have a 1500-V dc isolation voltage, fixed switching frequency, and monotonic start-up. They include a remote on/off capability and under-voltage, over-voltage, over-temperature, and over-current protection. The series comes in a plastic case with an aluminum base plate.
