Coupling synchronous rectification with the latest in surface mount components and construction, the new X10 and X15 dc/dc converters address the requirements of distributed power applications. The new high-density power modules provide up to 18.75W per cubic inch in an industry standard package measuring 2" x 1" x 0.4". Offering six output voltage choices from 1.8V to 12V, the new 10W and 15W modules are availabe in single- and dual-output confgurations with efficiencies of up to 84% typical for a 5V output unit, the company says.
The X10 (10W) Series offers nominal single-output voltage of 3.3V, 5V, 12V and dual-output ±12V models. The X15 (15W) models extend the nominal output voltage range to also include lower output voltages of 1.8V, 2V and 2.5V. Typical pricing starts at $22 for the X10 Series and $28 for the X15 in OEM quanitites.
