Eight additions to the mid-power, 375V-input family of Maxi dc/dc converters include 200W/3.3-VOUT and 300W/5-VOUT models and 400W models at 12, 15, 24, 28, 36, and 48 VOUT. The modules employ the company’s patented low-noise zero-current and zero-voltage switching technologies, which promise to reduce design efforts and filtering costs. Operating with input voltages from 250V to 425V (375V nominal), efficiencies range up to 89% for the higher- output modules. Options include five environmental grades, six unique pin configurations, three baseplates, and RoHS compliance. Prices start at $128 each/1,000. VICOR CORP., Andover, MA. (800) 735-6200.
