RoHS compliant and reported as providing excellent EMC immunity, the PLP75-1012G ac/dc power supply delivers a 12V output with up to 75W of output power. It meets EN 61000 standards for ESD/RF susceptibility, fast transient/burst, surge, RF immunity, magnetic fields, and voltage interruptions. At 75W, just 5 CFM of forced-air cooling is required, and at 65W, convection cooling will do the job. This relatively small airflow requirement eliminates the need for the supply to be located adjacent to a cooling fan. The unit measures 76.2 mm x 127 mm x 35.1 mm (1U) and suits a variety of applications such as a front end for point-of load converters or powering fans in telecom/datacom and industrial environments. Other features include 0.99 power factor correction, an 85- to 264-Vac universal input, and the CE Mark. Pricing is $45 each/250. POWER-ONE INC., Camarillo, CA. (866) 969-3438.
