Seeking deployment in enterprise and data processing equipment, as well as distributed and hybrid power architectures, the KW006-010 series dc/dc converters deliver up to 33W in 33 mm x 22.9 mm x 8.5 mm sixteenth-brick packages. The RoHS-compliant converters provide output voltages of 3.3V at 10A and 5V at 6A with an input voltage range of 36V to 75V. Via synchronous rectification technology and unique packaging techniques, they achieve efficiency levels reaching 87% at 3.3V full load. Standard features include remote on/off, negative logic, output-voltage adjustment, remote sense, industrial temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, plus over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection. Remote on/off positive logic is available as an option. Price is $24.80 each/1,000. TYCO ELECTRONICS POWER SYSTEMS, Dallas, TX. (800) 526-7819.
