Extending the DataSafe HX line are smaller batteries that meet the requirements of single-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems. The additions include seven models, the HX25 through the HX150, which offer between 23W to 150W per cell at the 15-minute rate to a 1.67V end voltage. The valve-regulated, lead-acid batteries have a 10-year working life. Other features include high-conductivity recessed brass terminals, long-life terminal seals, corrosion-resistant lead-calcium-tin alloy positive and negative grids, and hermetically sealed containers and covers. All batteries in the DataSafe HX line have an operating temperature range of -30°C to 45°C and can be stored for up to six months at 25°C before recharging. Pricing for an HX25 starts at $22.
