Designed to deliver reliable power for LCDs backlit by cold cathode fluorescent tubes (CCFTs), the E200II series DC/AC inverters are completely vacuum encapsulated and can be customized for individual LCD assemblies. The new inverters feature self-shielding against RFI and EMI and are available with either a 5 Vdc or 12 Vdc input, with units offering custom input voltages also available.
The inverters can be supplied in single- or dual-tube versions and with a negative dc output for LCD contrast adjustment. The low-profile inverters stand only 0.6" high, offer up to 8W of output power, have typical operating efficiencies of 80% to 85%, and are available in a "C" or "E" configuration. E200II Series inverters cost $11.10 each/1,000 with delivery time running four weeks ARO.
