Open-Frame Switchers Deliver Up To 50W

Delivering 40W with natural convection cooling or 50W with 20-cfm of airflow, the PSS-40 series of open-frame switching supplies comes in the new standard size for 40W applications: 4.25" x 2.5" x 1.26". The unit’s Molex input and output connectors are the same ones found on older 5" x 3" units. The supplies’ low profile makes them suitable for applications with computers, portable equipment, peripherals and networking products. There are 20 models with one to three outputs.The series features universal input of 90 to 264 vac for worldwide operation. An integral line input filter reduces conducted noise to below FCC Class B and CISPR22 Class B limits. All supplies meet international regulatory standards including UL1950, CSA C22.2 no. 234, and EN60950.
