Full-Brick Converters Have Open-Frame Design

Dec. 1, 1999
Designed as open-frame dc-to-dc converters rated at 100W, 150W or 300W, the VWS and VWB booster families of full-brick-size dc-to-dc converters have dimensions of 4.6" x 2.4" x 0.5" and can provide up to 300W of output power at up to 50A of current.

The converters' industry-standard footprint allows them to replace or serve as a second-source for older products. Output voltages are 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 24V, 28V or 48V. The series is rated for 100°C baseplate operation and offers 1500 vdc of isolation. With remote enable and sense pins, an adjust pin is also available for ±10% trim range.
