The VLT130 family of quad- and single-output open-frame switching power supplies is said to be the smallest 130W supplies available for powering data-networking, telecommunication, computing and Internet equipment. The supplies deliver nearly 9W/in.3 and are 40% smaller in size, 25% more efficient and offer three times the current density of competing products, it’s claimed.A broad range of standar features includes power-factor correction, remote sense, power fail, overcurrent and overvoltage protection, tight output load regulation, and voltage-trim potentiometers. The supplies are also offered in current-sharing configurations, which enables two supplies to be paralleled for full redundancy. Quad models come with a choice of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, -12V, 15V, -15V and 24V outputs. The 3.3V output offers up to 16A of current.
