Extremely compact with dimensions of 2" long x 1" wide x 0.35" high, the 12W SMS series of fully-isolated, single-output, dc-to-dc open-frame converters is fully compatible with vacuum-operated pick-and-place machines and is designed to meet stringent coplanarity requirements. Isolation is specified at 1500 vdc and ambient temperature operation is 85°C. Input voltage range is 18 to 36 vdc or 36 to 75 vdc with outputs of 2.1, 2.5, 3.3 or 5 vdc.
