Designed for reduced component count in telecommunication, safety and other applications where approved isolation is essential, the NMS series of miniature isolated DC-DC converters are said to be the first dual-output, 2W devices to offer UL1950 and EN60950 approval to the "re-inforced" level. These low-profile devices combine power densities of 0.65 W/cm3 with minimum isolation ratings of 6 kvdc. No external components are required to achieve compliance with the above standards, making the converters well suited for safety isolation circuitry in modems and other high-component density telecommunications designs. NMS series converters are available with inputs of 5V or 12V and standard outputs of ±5V, ±9V, ±12V and ±15V. All the rated power can be drawn form a single pin if the total load does not exceed 2W. Price: $15.33 each/2500.
