A new ac/dc power supply has been developed with a wide range of configuration options combined with typical shipping times of less than a week for first customer-configured units. The Quikflex series power supply is designed to reduce time-to-market while meeting customized specifications that are fully optimized to individual application requirements. Engineers can accommodate specification changes during the development cycle without the need for re-sourcing or re-qualification. With power rating options of up to 1,000W, the Quikflex lets users configure between one and 12 independent, isolated outputs with standard output voltages of 1.45V to 28V. Seven adjustable output modules provide current rating options of 3A, 10A, 12A, 15A, 20A, 30A, and 80A. Each delivered unit conforms to EN61000-3-2 for power factor correction and comes with full CE and UL approval. All units have a universal input and an input/output dielectric strength of 3,000 Vac. Quikflex products require no minimum load and provide line and load regulation of ±0.1% and 0.2%, respectively. Ripple and noise performance is specified as the greater of 1.0% or 100 mV peak-to-peak. Four-slot versions measure 270 mm x 127 mm x 65 mm and 6-slot versions measure 270 mm x 187 mm x 65 mm. Operating temperature is –20°C to +70°C. C&D TECHNOLOGIES INC., Tucson, AZ. (800) 547-2537.
