Claiming a significant increase in power capability in a standard eighth-brick footprint, the EUE200 dc/dc converter delivers up to 200W of output power and supports applications where multiple low voltages are generated using discrete/modular point-of-load (POL) converters. The module exploits synchronous rectification technology and unique packaging techniques to achieve an efficiency reaching 95% at 12V full load. Operating with input voltages from 42V to 55V, the converter provides a single, unregulated output voltage with a 4:1 step-down ratio between input/output. The output is fully isolated from the input, allowing for a variety of polarity configurations and grounding connections. Other features include remote on/off, input under-voltage lockout, plus input/output over-voltage, over-current, and -temperature protection. Price is $41.20 each/1,000.
