POL Converters Wedge Into Tight Quarters

For high-density designs where space is at a premium, the SIL30E and SMT30E point-of-load (POL) converters deliver up to 30A of output current in compact modules. The SIL30E vertical-mount POL converter comes in a single-in-line package measuring 50.8 mm x 7.8 mm and 12.7-mm high. Its surface-mount counterpart, the SMT30E, measures 33 mm x 13.5mm and 8.1-mm high. Accepting input voltages from 8V to 14V, both provide output voltages from 0.8V to 3.63V.
