Designed to meet the space and performance needs in instrumentation, industrial controls, embedded systems and telecommunications applications, a new PCB switching power supply provides output power of 50W. The LPS50 accepts universal input from 85 to 265 Vac, and six models provide single outputs from 3.3 to 48 Vdc. This power supply is useful for applications requiring a high density packaged open-frame unit. The LPS50 includes an output adjustment potentiometer and will operate over the ambient temperature range of 0°C to +50°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain over voltage and short circuit protection circuitry and an internal input EN61000 compliant EMI filter. Dimensions are 7.7"L x 2.2"W x 0.9"H. All models are designed to accept industry standard Molex-style input/output connectors. Pricing is $19/100. ASTRODYNE, Taunton, MA. (800) 823-8082.
