With the support of convection cooling, the 6.58" x 2.56" x 1.46" AML120 ac/dc supply represents a power density of 4.9 W/in3 without the need for a fan. The unit yields a typical efficiency of 86% at full load and operates over an extended operating temperature range from 0°C to +70°C. Via a standard IEC 320/C6 inlet, it accommodates a 90 to 264 Vac universal input and meets EN61000-3-2, -3. Optional non-standard connectors are also available. The supply offers nine standard, single-output voltages from 12V to 48V, each specifying a total regulation of ±5%. Total regulation includes initial set accuracy and line/load regulation. Standard features of each include automatic over-voltage, over-current, and short-circuit protection, ripple and noise figures within 2% p-p, compliance with all major safety and EMC specifications including EN55022/FCC/VCCI Class B, and a MTBF beyond 100,000 hours. Price is $54 each/1,000. For more info, call Duane Darrow at XP POWER, Littleton, MA. (978) 287-7260.
