DC/DC Converter Delivers 700W Continuous

The RFF series full-brick dc/dc converters include five 28V-output models with a choice of two input-voltage ranges and three output current-ratings. At the top of the series, the RFF700 is capable of delivering 25A at 28V, 700W continuous, yielding a power density in excess of 127 W/in³. All models feature high-power output capabilities and are rated for continuous operation across a wide temperature range. Output voltage is adjustable from 16.8V to 29.4V via a single resistor or a suitable control voltage. The RFF500 and RFF600 provide output currents of 17.9A and 21.4A respectively, and both are available with 24V nominal (18V to 36V) or 48V nominal (36V to 75V) inputs. The RFF700 offers a nominal 48V input (36V to 75V). Other shared features of the series includes a 7 to 10 Vdc auxiliary output, which can supply up to 20 mA for power control signaling purposes.
