Gearing up for industrial designs, the CC-P-E series isolated dc/dc converters comprises a total of 64 components rated at 15W or 30W. Compared to the company's previous converter offerings, power conversion efficiency has been improved by 2% while mounting-space requirements are about 6% less for the 15W and up to 32% less for the 30W types. Packaging includes DIP and SMD styles plus high-isolation components without a cover. Other features include parallel operation, over-voltage, output low-voltage, and over-current protection, output over-voltage alarm, simultaneous startup and startup delay, and remote on/off.
