The LPS103-M high-efficiency 100- to 150-W power supply features information technology equipment (ITE) and non-patient contact and non-patient critical medical safety approvals. The open-frame design measures just 2” by 4” by 1.29”. Its typical full-load efficiency is 88%, and power density is in excess of 14 W/in.3. The LPS103-M has a universal 85-254 V ac input and can also operate from 120-300 V dc. The supply produces a tightly regulated 12-V dc output, and a 12-V dc fan output (rated at 1 A). The main output is rated at 8.3 A continuously with convection cooling or up to 12.5 A continuously with 30 CFM forced-air cooling. Active power correction ensures compliance with the EN61000-3-2 standard and provides a power factor of 0.99 typical. Standard lead time is stock to eight weeks.
