    The second generation of STEP general-purpose power supplies offers expanded voltage and current ranges for small-load applications where size is a critical concern. They feature a voltage-versus-current characteristic output. Under heavy-load demands, the supplies provide a constant-current output, a condition reportedly ideal for starting lamp loads or capacitive loads. Several models also provide adjustable output voltages, allowing for lead-length compensation. Employing a unique DIN-rail clip, the supplies mount either on a rail or in a panel.
