The Micro SIP Series open-frame, non-isolated dc/dc converters operate over a wide input range from 4.5V to 13.8V and deliver an ultra-wide output voltage trim range from 0.59 to 5.1 Vdc. Employing a fixed switching frequency of 500 kHz, the components deliver efficiencies up to 91%. The series includes 3A, 6A, and 10A active-high enable, and true active-high enable converter modules and target a wide range of distributed-power architectures and POL applications. Control and protection features include differential remote on/off, under-voltage lockout, and over-current/short-circuit protection. In five-pin SIP configurations, the 3A and 10A modules measure 0.65” x 0.41” x 0.32” while 6A modules measure 0.65” x 0.41” x 0.295”. Prices for the 3A, 6A, and 10A models converters are $3.95, $4.15, and $4.75 each/10,000, respectively. BEL POWER INC., Jersey City, NJ. (800) 235-3873.
