Completing the power-train conversion to processor and memory loads in HV DC distribution data centers, the VIB0002TFJ sixteenth-brick bus converter module delivers more than 4 kV of isolated power up to 330W for downstream loads. In parallel eco-array configurations, 380 to 48 V conversion is achieved at more than 90% efficiency from a 10% light load all the way to a full load at multi-kW power levels. Additionally, the converter’s BCM VI Chip package is compatible with standard pick-and-place and surface-mount assembly processes. Price for the VIB0002TFJ is less than $35 each in OEM quantities.
