POL Converters Infiltrate 24V Apps
Enhancing the Okami point-of-load (POL) converter family are surface-mount members capable of delivering 3A outputs. Dubbed the OKI-T/3-W40 series, the latest components target 24-Vdc applications requiring low-voltage sources. With a 15W maximum output power, the series accepts an input range of 16 to 40 Vdc and provides programmable outputs from 0.75 to 5.5 Vdc. Other features include the ability to drive ceramic capacitors with values up to 1,000 µF, on/off control, over-temperature, over-current, and under-voltage protection, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C.
