The SLIN Series non-isolated, point-of-load (POL) dc/dc converters rely on Tunable Loop technology to optimize the dynamic response of the converter to match specific load requirements. Allegedly, this minimizes the quantity, type, and size of capacitors necessary for any given application. Available in a standard Distributed-power Open Standards Alliance footprint, the series includes 3A, 6A, 12A, and 20A versions in SMT modules. Other features include an input voltage from 4.5V to 14V, a programmable output voltage of 0.59V to 5.5V, and efficiencies of up to 94.3%. Prices for the SLIN Series are $4.60, $4.80, $5.45, and $6.05 each/10,000 for the 3A, 6A, 12A, and 20A models, respectively. BEL FUSE INC., Jersey City, NJ. (201) 432-0463.
