400W DC/DC Converter Accepts Wide Input Range

March 3, 2011
Deemed an industry first, the 400W FBW dc/dc converter series offers a 9 to 36 Vdc and 18 to 75 Vdc input range in a 4.6" x 2.4" x 0.55" package.

Deemed an industry first, the 400W FBW dc/dc converter series offers a 9 to 36 Vdc and 18 to 75 Vdc input range in a 4.6" x 2.4" x 0.55" package. Residing in a metal case encapsulated with a thermally-conductive potting compound, efficiencies run as high as 93% reducing. Case operating temperature is -40° to +100°C and threaded through holes in the case enable heatsink attachment for extended temperatures. Output-voltage options include 5, 12, 24, 28, and 48 Vdc with a trim range of -25% to +10%. Additionally, all models are isolated from input to output and from the case. CALEX MFG. CO. INC., Concord, CA. (800) 542-3355.
