Targeting cost-critical, high-current applications, the models 1693, 1694, 1900, 1901, and 1902 switchmode power supplies provide current and power levels up to 60A and 960W, respectively.

Targeting cost-critical, high-current applications, the models 1693, 1694, 1900, 1901, and 1902 switchmode power supplies provide current and power levels up to 60A and 960W, respectively. The supplies currently enhance the company’s popular dc-supply offerings for use in production testing, R&D, service, and university-lab applications. Delivering 900W outputs, the 1693 and 1694 provide a variable voltage output from 1V to 15V at 60A and 1V to 30V at 30A, respectively. For greater power density and more features such as constant current mode, the models 1900, 1901, and 1902 offer rotary encoder knobs for level setting and presets. Additionally, all five models offer over-temperature protection, current foldback circuitry, and over-voltage protection. Price for the 1693 or 1694 is $479 each and models 1900, 1901, and 1902 cost $599 each. B&K PRECISION CORP., Yorba Linda, CA. (800) 462-9832.
