The S-8205A/B, S-8211E, and S-8215A Series ICs protect lithium-ion battery packs from overcharge, over-discharge, and over-current. The S-8205A/B and S-8211E Series feature accurate voltage-detection and delay circuits, allowing users to monitor the status of a one cell (S-8211E) or four and five cell (S-8205A/B) battery pack. Suitable for secondary protection, the S-8215A Series accommodates series connection of four or five cells.
