Minmax’s MJWI10 series of dc-dc converters integrates tightly regulated single or dual outputs from a wide 4:1 input

Minmax’s MJWI10 series of dc-dc converters integrates tightly regulated single or dual outputs from a wide 4:1 input. The device, within its 1- by 1-in. shielded metal package, provides 10-W power. The series’ 18 standard models range from 3.3 to 24 V dc in single-output configurations, and ±5 to ±15 V dc in dual-output configurations. Input-to-output isolation is 1500 V dc. Up to 87% efficiency allows for a wide operating temperature range of -40 to +80°C without derating. Remote on/off control comes standard. An optional heatsink can further expand the converters’ thermal properties. The series is approved to UL60950-1 and EN60950-1 standards; conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) complies with EN55022, Class A and FCC level A. Applications include instrumentation, communications, electronics, and battery-operated equipment.
